how many times have you done your own thing against all advice?
and what has happened?
has it changed your life for the better or did you just get into even more shit?

I've been told to concentrate on school and take up some practical pragmatic $-making studies but instead I became a film major and spend all of my time aspiring to be a musician. I have been frowned upon by my parents and their friends and my friends' parents (its partially why i broke up with my last girlfriend) for the past 4 years or so. I can't tell if it has changed my life for the better but at least I'm not bored. We'll see in 5 years i guess.

i see everyone has led a life of either always following advice or completely ignoring it to the point of not even realising anyone else has an opinion?
my life speaks for itself unfortunately, though i dont regret many of the things i have gone ahead and done 'flying against the wind'.
true for me too, honda, im rarely bored with it..

I hate doing what other people think I'm supposed to do, but then I have a mile-wide knee-jerk reaction to being told what to do.
