I'll be adding some of my really old artwork to my site soon. I have a feeling that mark will be really pleased with some of them.

mark s (mark s), Sunday, 20 October 2002 19:24 (twenty-three years ago)

Well she might be a vampire - surely the odd one must break away from the normative goth fashion?

Mark's drawing of a very pink person is interesting. It looks as though they fell asleep under a sunlamp.

there's a chasm or arroyo on there somewhere with baba yaga's name on it...

Wrong Widdy, I think, Martin. I thought it was this Widdy-Web too (I hoped George was one of her cats; they are fine cats, despite my prejudices) but it doesn't seem to be. Assuming that's what you thought it was, of course, which it might not be at all.

However, if Ms Widdecombe's (NB Americans: scary woman from folk-myth, har har) website really does say things like "Evenin` y`all", "I now have a mental image of a police officer dressing up in the Bungle costume and two others arsing around with the Zippy and George puppets", "...half baked Rainbow remixes I knocked up on my Amiga years back. I`m a bit more sophisticated these days and I`m busy making tunes and sending them out to record labels and the lovely record shops in Manchester," then, er, I'm quite impressed and very scared indeed.

Obviously, George the pink hippo is merely representative of a penis. I can't believe that's a children's program! Just wait until Falwell hears about this -- the faggery of Teletubbies was nothing next to George the walking, talking phallus.

ragnfild (ragnfild), Monday, 21 October 2002 18:35 (twenty-three years ago)

there was a very long story in the shropshire star abt some drunk clambering on-stage and attacking george: my favoiurite sentence began "Bungle and Zippy stood aghast as... "
