Still dreaming about a recent revelation by way of milk parfait topped with manjo jelly, baby basil, and a juicy drizzle of basil- and citrus-oil.

What are some other savory-minded desserts that make all the sense in the world?

i ate ice-cream with a liberal sprinkling of salt last year, and hell it was good!
but i was pregnant, and it was the only time i had a 'weird craving'.
fortunately.

Definitely the three flavor drink at this Vietnamese restaurant from way back. A cold tall glass filled with cream, sugar, ice, sweet red bean, sweet yellow beans, and ribbed green agar agar worms.

I always find the concept of balsamic strawberries grosser than gross, but the taste of them lovelier than lovely.

my ex-girlfriend used to eat a dessert that she claimed was a delicacy in her homeland (indonesia). i thought it was a really good dessert.

it consists of a bowl of milk, sliced avocadoes and instant coffee granules. bang! somehow it works.

what the fuck is a 'ribbed green agar agar worm'?

I'll have to second this one -- num but an acquired taste.

'ribbed green agar agar worm'

It's a veggie version of these weirdly shaped green gelatin strips... but since gelatin isn't vegetarian, agar agar is a seaweed derived byproduct that's used as a non-animal-based gelling agent..
