i used to go to NME's a lot but dont feel the urge at all these days...just wondering who here still likes to chat live online but NOT through things like MSN Messenger - maybe i've moved on from it or am too busy now but sometimes i still like the idea of going into a room on a regular basis to talk about anything to virtual strangers, hopefully making some new friends in the process - and without idjuts goin in there and postin very long messages that consist of just the letter 'h' repeated over and over...forums like this just cant offer that same level of spontaneous fun so if anyone knows a good room thats not attached to some famous brand (like NME)but is full of interesting peoples (preferably, like me, not students anymore) then i'd appreciate it if you could recommend it here or mail me the address, ta

i used to visit one that is nz based, it still exists but sadly only gets the same people all the time and i got a bit bored with it. the ages range a bit - 18 - 50ish i think, and they are friendly enough though so is that your real email addy? i will send you the thingy in case you wanna go have a look.

Kidding! I still go into NME occasionally, i'm in there now as a matter fact. come in join the fun (nb. 'fun' meant as reading msgs from post-degree dullards (nb i guess i'm a pre degree dullard becuz i aint got one yet, is this worse?) moaning about how they hate rnb/dance music/dancing/having fun/you becuz you're gay OR post-degree dullards sleazing it up with 'indie girls' (how is indie sexy? find out in nme chat)) It's basically just full of hataz. But still, sometimes it's fun to insult them intelligently (or just call people spastics).

yep the problem with chat rooms is the level of conversation.
