donut bitch (donut), Monday, 28 October 2002 02:36 (twenty-three years ago)

groind?

donna (donna), Monday, 28 October 2002 02:37 (twenty-three years ago)

ground

donut bitch (donut), Monday, 28 October 2002 02:47 (twenty-three years ago)

groind?

It's very helpful for chafing... it's the oils. ;-)

ragnfild (ragnfild), Monday, 28 October 2002 02:48 (twenty-three years ago)

oh, it sounds much more interesting groind.

donna (donna), Monday, 28 October 2002 02:57 (twenty-three years ago)

Quite so. DB must pursue this more regularly.

Ned Raggett (Ned), Monday, 28 October 2002 03:19 (twenty-three years ago)

I"M SERIOUS, GUYS! What do I do with freshly ground almond butter?

SEE? I didn't misspell it, this time.

donut bitch (donut), Monday, 28 October 2002 03:24 (twenty-three years ago)

eat it

electric sound of jim (electricsound), Monday, 28 October 2002 03:27 (twenty-three years ago)

with what? Just spoon it into my mouth?

donut bitch (donut), Monday, 28 October 2002 03:27 (twenty-three years ago)

No, smear it all over the wall, lick it off, and invite someone to take photos for web use.

Ned Raggett (Ned), Monday, 28 October 2002 03:28 (twenty-three years ago)

KERNEL PERVERTS!

donut bitch (donut), Monday, 28 October 2002 03:31 (twenty-three years ago)

Besides, I called Karen Finley, and she said she only deals exclusively with tubers. No legumes or hard shells for her little butthole, thank you very much.

NEXT

donut bitch (donut), Monday, 28 October 2002 03:32 (twenty-three years ago)

Recipes yo. Like Tofu almond butter? Toastie things? what?

donut bitch (donut), Monday, 28 October 2002 03:34 (twenty-three years ago)

i dunno dude. if nothing else works out i bet it'd make a good face mask/moisturizer

geeta (geeta), Monday, 28 October 2002 03:40 (twenty-three years ago)

I've never made it (no chafing, that's why) but maybe you could stuff celery with it, add a dash of salt or perhaps some hickory flavoring (I'm thinking smoked almonds here) and eat it as a snack.

You could also maybe add a dollop to soups, such as corn chowder or pumpkin. It might be good on a baked potato, or tossed in with pasta. Maybe just think of it as peanut butter and try it wherever you might try that.

If you added a bit of salt, some confectioner's sugar and some chocolate, you might end up with something sorta like Reese's Peanut Butter cups.

ragnfild (ragnfild), Monday, 28 October 2002 03:41 (twenty-three years ago)

You can just put it on English muffins you know. Like the maple syrup toast kind, or maybe the cinnamon kind. That'd be pretty good. You probably can use it in the same manner you'd use peanut butter, actually.

Ally (mlescaut), Monday, 28 October 2002 03:43 (twenty-three years ago)

Or maybe on bagels.

And you might find some yummy ideas here too: http://www.epicurious.com/s97is.vts?action=filtersearch&filter=recipe-filter.hts&collection=Recipes&ResultTemplate=recipe-results.hts&queryType=and&keyword=almond+butter

YES! Ragnfild, yoo my boo!

donut bitch (donut), Monday, 28 October 2002 03:54 (twenty-three years ago)

2 slices whole wheat bread + strawberry jelly + almond butter = great sandwich.

lyra (lyra), Monday, 28 October 2002 14:55 (twenty-three years ago)

You could put it on your fremme neppa venette.

Dan Perry (Dan Perry), Monday, 28 October 2002 15:12 (twenty-three years ago)

(Also note to self: Do not eat the almond butter at DB's house because you KNOW where it's been...)

Dan Perry (Dan Perry), Monday, 28 October 2002 15:24 (twenty-three years ago)

surm, Tuesday, 7 July 2009 04:23 (sixteen years ago)

They are. I think they're the best nut tbh.

surm, Tuesday, 7 July 2009 04:24 (sixteen years ago)

Also - the smell. I had this amazing body wash that was almond scented and so good. It kind of made me want to eat it though.

\(^o\) (/o^)/ (ENBB), Tuesday, 7 July 2009 04:24 (sixteen years ago)

surm, Tuesday, 7 July 2009 04:25 (sixteen years ago)

Evelyn

surm, Tuesday, 7 July 2009 04:25 (sixteen years ago)

I've used that before! It's really good.

\(^o\) (/o^)/ (ENBB), Tuesday, 7 July 2009 04:26 (sixteen years ago)

OK I may actually have tasted the body wash once. It was all natural and . . . I couldn't resist. It was not nearly as tasty as it was amazing smelling.

\(^o\) (/o^)/ (ENBB), Tuesday, 7 July 2009 04:27 (sixteen years ago)

haaa

also any almond related baked goods

surm, Tuesday, 7 July 2009 04:30 (sixteen years ago)

my favorite cookie!

I love rainbow cookies (surm), Tuesday, 7 July 2009 04:33 (sixteen years ago)

They're pretty damn good. Ben and Jerry's has a new ice cream flavor that is awesome - Mission to Marzipan. "Sweet cream ice cream with almond cookies and a marzipan swirl!"

OK, we have to stop talking about this. I'm getting hungry now. :-(

\(^o\) (/o^)/ (ENBB), Tuesday, 7 July 2009 04:35 (sixteen years ago)
