Bored vs Wasted

Wasted every time.

Wasted. Often boredom leads to wasted IME

By boredom I mean sitting in a room by yourself
And by wasted I mean at 3 o'clock in the morning dry heaving, crouched over the toilet

Wasted is irreversible for a number of hours and often comes with miserable side effects. At least boredom is reversible, because you can still think.

Boredom when I have nothing to do isn't so bad. I can just go for a walk or something. Being in a boring situation that I can't get out of, at work say, is much worse.

No contest. Wasted - however grand or miserable - at least is not boredom. Pure boredom equals death.
