Who lives in Europe, and wants to help out an ILX benefactor?

The time has come for me to try to cash in on my generosity:

As some of you may or may not know, I'm going to come over and live in Europe (around the Spain/France area, is what I currently have in mind) between January and June next year.

What I want to know is if any of you have any idea what I can do for a bit of money over there. I really don't need anything more than just barely covering food and accomodation. (I'd rather not have to completely drain my savings while I'm there.) Have any of you done this before? Do any of you know of someone that could offer me work over there? I have a crapload of IT experience and skills. Err, yeah.

This is kindof a last-ditch effort, as all other avenues have yeilded poor results. Any advice / information / snide remarks are mandatory!

Teaching English as a private tutor, being down-to-earth and putting aside playboy fantasies and taking into account that there is no Starbucks down here (read cultures thread to illustrate yourself).

I currently share my time between the two sides of the Pyrinees, so I suppose I could provide you with some more specific help if you want.
