last minute's tomorrow isn't it?

don't think we're going to go for anybody else but the agent rumour mill keeps cranking

bizarrer Gandhara (Noodle Vague), Tuesday, 30 January 2018 16:22 (six years ago) link

Oh I got my days mixed, deadline's not tonight, soz.

Wolves are in for a striker from Bournemouth iirc? Do you need another striker?

♫ very clever with maracas.jpg ♫ (Le Bateau Ivre), Tuesday, 30 January 2018 16:23 (six years ago) link

suggest that we might be after our old boy Benik Afobe on loan, and only until the summer, but I don't know how seriously to take it, I think this board keeps their cards pretty close to their chest

this bloke was castigating us for not following Derby's model and signing every Champo level striker available the other day

bizarrer Gandhara (Noodle Vague), Tuesday, 30 January 2018 16:24 (six years ago) link

we don't need a "striker" we could perhaps do with another strong forward, but I'm not unduly worried, I think Nuno shd've earned a bit of faith. but fans are terrible, terrible people.

Sturridge has gone to Albion

Sad to see Roque Mesa, the best looking 'stach of the PL, going back to Spain.

It’s not quite accurate to say Arsenal are paying the loan fee for Batshuayi to join Dortmund. The initial fee deal with Dortmund for Aubameyang was contingent on Dortmund getting Giroud on a free loan deal. pic.twitter.com/YzD2qhuAxA

Nothing to see here, just the next 2 fixtures against Liverpool and Man U after just getting made to look shit by Brum and Stoke.

calzino, Tuesday, 30 January 2018 19:52 (six years ago) link

Done deal for Arsenal then. Can't hear his name with singing it to Shang-a-lang.

classic Wenger getting this potentially great forward line when the season's already dead

Ozil has signed a new contract apparently.

Aubameyang is a magnificent CF but so was Lacazette before he went to Arsenal.

Doesn't suit their game at all imo

apparently one second behind Ledley King's record v Bradford, which I have no recollection of and seems baffling

thirst trap your hare (DJ Mencap), Wednesday, 31 January 2018 20:09 (six years ago) link

Was Kane involved in the move at all or just in wrong half? I only tuned in 5 minutes in so I've got no idea what happened.

the salacious inaudible (Nasty, Brutish & Short), Wednesday, 31 January 2018 20:12 (six years ago) link

Kane cunted it to ALli who cunted it to Eriksen who scored. 11 seconds.

♫ very clever with maracas.jpg ♫ (Le Bateau Ivre), Wednesday, 31 January 2018 20:16 (six years ago) link

The VAR debate rumbles on,,,

Sean McG: That Spurs goal would have been chalked off if VAR was being used. Harry Kane in the opposition half on kick off - goal shouldn't have counted... a call for VAR??

Richard Clayton: Harry Kane was in the Man Utd half at kick off - goal shouldn't have counted... a call for VAR??

BBC Football. With VAR spurs’ goal wouldn’t have counted. Can’t wait for it in every match.
Ben, Manchester

Striker’s finish from Jones.

Wag1 Shree Rajneesh (ShariVari), Wednesday, 31 January 2018 20:29 (six years ago) link

he meant to score that

♫ very clever with maracas.jpg ♫ (Le Bateau Ivre), Wednesday, 31 January 2018 20:29 (six years ago) link

Dunno about 'bossing it'. United are getting plenty of opportunities, they just keep fucking up the final ball.

the salacious inaudible (Nasty, Brutish & Short), Wednesday, 31 January 2018 20:32 (six years ago) link

It's all Spurs. MU's "final balls" aren't like Spurs' final balls. Y'know, actually dangerous.

♫ very clever with maracas.jpg ♫ (Le Bateau Ivre), Wednesday, 31 January 2018 20:33 (six years ago) link

Ref doing his best

Close up of Sanchez doing his familiar fuck my teammates steez was delicious

Young aggro as fuck but also most dangerous player

Valencia should have two yellows and a pen conceded

Alderweireld Horses (darraghmac), Wednesday, 31 January 2018 20:57 (six years ago) link

Spurs look decent eriksen is a treasure Alli a lumbering memory of grace

Alderweireld Horses (darraghmac), Wednesday, 31 January 2018 20:57 (six years ago) link

playing Martial on the right to accommodate Sanchez was a stupid idea. Sanchez can and has played well on that side, Martial has essentially never played there. And he's our most in-form attacker

Midfield remains the main problem though (apart from the existence of Phil Jones). I'd like to see Herrera come on, but it'll probably be Fellaini after 20 minutes or so

Number None, Wednesday, 31 January 2018 21:02 (six years ago) link

Dembele looks like his old self that is definitely a function of utd midfield tbh

Alderweireld Horses (darraghmac), Wednesday, 31 January 2018 21:05 (six years ago) link

Being harsh on Dele who looks busy and showing some lovely stuff but he's a second slow and the critical pass a yard off
