Uh? I met you at a FAP, Sam (my first), and you certainly weren't a prat at that one! (I prolly WAS, but then I usually am).
Shamefacedly - I owe you an apology Sam, I found a few days ago, when I was clearing out my archive, an e-mail from you asking for some advice about music for your wedding. For some reason (i.e I'm crap) I didn't get around to replying immediately and forgot about it. So, belatedly - sorry!

'work’s end, when Scotland is winding itself into the crib of its television guarded couch,' for instance. Television-guarded (should be hyphened), meaning the couch is guarded by the television? The couch is also a crib? Scotland, the nation, is winding itself into the couch? Like a baby in swaddling clothes? I struggle a bit to piece the extended metaphor together, and meanwhile I've lost the pace of the prose and have to catch the next bus, if you see what I mean!
Hope this helps.

however, my awe was not sufficient enough to warrant another meeting with mark s and i never heard from him again.. i often thought about the meeeting and realised, that when he shouted "YOU WERE NOT SUFFICIENTLY AWED" i knew that i would never see him again.
and the he weaved great majick and i thought i was now talking to a) philip k. dick or b) a friendly science teacher. it was glamorous.

i'm in writing demon frenzy at the moment and need to hang with fellow oddballs local 1223 to be properly understood.
i'm going to cambridge for the weekend, HEAVEN KNOWS WHY, ostensibly to meet people, but my forays in socialising with the english who are weirdos, is notoriously awful but i am reassured by sophie that it won't be like, though, she did say, well, the last time we went socialising, it was purdy bad. i.e. met her childhood friend and friend of the childhood friend who is a nhs manager and we wuz bored silly as the nhs manager pretended the 'body world' exhibition wasnt a big freak show but an art exhibit, then sat in in brick lane for bad currie (no, not momus) and bad 'office humour' until everyone was uncomfortable with the nhs manager, and sophie, sniped at me, i left, got home to find sophie in tears on the steps, thinking that the nhs manager was belittling her. i took off my scarf and went "errr...sophie, she was heavily boring, most wanting to dyke it with yer friend and insecure of us' they don't take kindly to bohemians, the middle class, you see. "oh no OH NO WHERE IS THE DISHWASHER, THE KIDS, THE CAR, THE BENTLEY, THE LUXURY FLAT IN CHELMSFORD"....sigh, i will see if i survive and we def. should book a time. argh. i used the word, book. i never did that until i moved to england. help me, please.
i am in brixton at the moment. could we meet up there? i love brixton. very creative mad ghetto place.

Still haven't seen the ILXesque Wire thing but Kate was raving about it yesterday during our Keep Yourself Fitter/hairdye session so must peruse (though as I live across the street from the big Magma ohyesdesignartwankporn/magazine shop my excuse is what, exactly?)
Am thinking of doing an FAP as rather conveniently I happen to live over a pub we all seemed to like at earler FAP, so do we do this when Jet-Trash Eye-Patch is in town, or what? And Doomie better come just to prove to everyone he's just sooooo not the Antichrist?

Suzy, in all honesty, you one of the coolest people i met. We had all out war. We met up at a club. We got on. Verry coool....i deserved nothing....and you were very chilled out - in marked difference to something that i had experienced that was very bad and horrible. i was on an egroup. a a and r jerk was on the egroup. i made a valid point. to this day i have the egroup people snarling at me because i made a honest observation. as i related to mark s, the whole experience was disturbing and forever referenced in the file marked 'music industry twats' but suzy you were cool and kate by default.
just had to get that outta of my head.
c'ya.
and i am the anti-christ, or at least an imitation of christ.
