TV CRAVING

at the moment i seem to be craving TV - i now have quite an active social life - quite busy in the week and def at weekends so i never see any tv much anymore - as a result i sooooo crave it, the office, soprano's, league of gentlemen - all often missed (i suppose i could hook up my video properly - but jesus - i ain't no cable guy).

anyone else find this - or is it just a case of "i want the one i cant have and its driving me mad" - i've even thought about getting a pocket TV

I understand. Tonight is my first night off in ... I don't know how long! Weeks, it seems like, and all I want to do is curl up with some really bad TV. Of course, I don't actually own a TV, which makes it quite difficult. It's not quite the same curling up with the internet, is it?

aaron mentioned something about liking spending sunday curled up watching an old 50s epic movie, and i immediately imagined myself doing that. i havent got a tv either, and i dont really like evening tv that much. there is something about a big old film on a sunday afternoon with the rain steadily pouring outside, there might a blanket or a duvet over me if i was on a sofa, i would be in somewhere a little more suburban than where i am now. in american shows when somebody watches tv they are only watching this type of show. it is either charlton heston or james stewart, characters only ever get to see these 2 actors.

i could watch columbo repeats until the end of time...
