i mean, i can spell: i'm a proofing editor, it's literally my job
but for the last several years i've noticed that, when i take a number down over the phone or just when i write a note that's two or three words long, as often as not i transpose letters or figures in what i'm writing
is this a thing? (i don't technically think it's dyslexia as i can spot it as i'm writing it, it's a glitch in my muscle-memory not my reading)

I have been noticing this myself! For now it's fairly rare, but it never used to happen. Maybe it's just expected mid-40s brain rot (except yeah, it's not misspelling, it's letter transposition)
