I checked, and Taxi Driver won in 1976, so absolutely.

There's 1753 nominees all in all, so yeah, so so so many films yet to see. I've listed them in an excel ark for a different project.

Any preferences on how to do it? Chronologically from 1946? Backwards chronologically from 2009 or something? Or jumping around decades?
