An aside to Sanpaku:
Dear Sanpaku,
I really don't appreciate you ruining my new thread immediately from the first post. I generally respect your contributions to this board, as you seem to know what you're talking about w/r/t climate change & whatnot, despite what silby says. But there's one post in particular that you made more than a year ago, a response to silby as it happens (3/7/20), that really sticks in my craw and I'd like to settle that now.
You don't know me. I'm the token lefty in my family. The crazy vegan bicyclist living in a $875 1 bdrm on a street where Norteño music gets loud Friday nights, because I don't need more, and I save where I can.
Basically, I just want you to elaborate on what it is exactly you don't like about Norteño music. As you may or may not know, I'm from the San Diego/Tijuana metropolitan area and consequently Norteño music is a significant part of my identity. The storytelling, the group dynamic, the showmanship, the propulsive oompah bass, the in-your-face accordion, the propulsive in-your-face bigotes. Todas estas costas son a good part of being alive around here and I'm just trying to understand what your problem with it is exactly.
Have you seen this? You should see this. See this and then respond to this post. Gracias amigo!

I read what you quoted. He said the music gets loud, and not one word saying that he doesn't like the music.

You are incorrect, and I disagree with you. I suggest you re-read it a second time, using your eyeballs, your optic nerves, and your brain to properly process the words that have been written.
