I have been amused to hear on the promotional rounds for this month's Owen Hatherley book his characterisation of early ILx as a load of public school poptimist Molesworth freaks, and Ilx vs the KerPlunk-blog archipelago as a kind of early noughties Whizzer v Chips.
Nevertheless it did send me heading to the archive (which I did not know you could browse by month). Struck me that this summer marks 21 years since the first ILM thread[url] and 20 years since [url=Welcome!]the first ILE thread. Obvs these anniversaries should prompt global rapture/collective suicide pact/krakens to awake, the moon to turn to blood ect ect.
But possibly also commemorative drinks somewhere/everywhere? Saturday 24 July?
