I will be out in London. Not sure where yet, but I'd be honoured if you'd join me for drinking.

Madchen (Madchen), Thursday, 19 December 2002 10:40 (twenty-three years ago)

Yay. Bouze.

I too will be running a fiendishly complex pub crawl sometime around about then. I'll probably plump on the 29th December - which will of course get its own thread.

Pete (Pete), Thursday, 19 December 2002 10:46 (twenty-three years ago)

Bah. I go to Wales for Christmas with my family, and what do you do? Come to London. Have a good pub session (without me), though.

Liz :x (Liz :x), Thursday, 19 December 2002 10:46 (twenty-three years ago)

I'll come out. I have disturbingly little to do over xmas. Except two fuck off essays.

alix (alix), Thursday, 19 December 2002 10:52 (twenty-three years ago)

Shall I come out too?

(I am fed up with living this lie.) ~

Mooro (Mooro), Thursday, 19 December 2002 10:54 (twenty-three years ago)

Whatever will Missus Mooro say? Harrumph, wish I was here, but will be eating mince pies in beatiful (probably) snowy Wales. Will have to make up for it tonight then...

Liz :x (Liz :x), Thursday, 19 December 2002 10:57 (twenty-three years ago)

I'd love to meet Madchen, but I think I will be unavailable that evening. I have loads of plans with my girlfriend over the hols. Of course, she might easily be sick of me by the 27th...

Martin Skidmore (Martin Skidmore), Thursday, 19 December 2002 19:22 (twenty-three years ago)

I will be bored in the South so I can come.

Graham (graham), Thursday, 19 December 2002 19:35 (twenty-three years ago)

OK, we will be going to the rather apt location of St Giles, home of tramps since London began, practically. Our venue is the Angel pub, 7pm onwards. I've just realised it has NO DARTBOARD! But as long as they can mix a snowball and a long vodka (not together) we will be fine.

Madchen (Madchen), Friday, 20 December 2002 12:22 (twenty-three years ago)

Er, I think it does have a dartboard actually. Unless they took it out in the last two months (its in the Saloon, left door to ver pub).

You might have to explain how to make a Long Vodka, it is a Sam Smiths after all. They might even have their own make of Angostura Bitterz.

Pete (Pete), Friday, 20 December 2002 12:34 (twenty-three years ago)

They do?? Yay! I will bring my pink and silver darts.

Sam Smith probably makes his own ORGANIC bitterz.

Madchen (Madchen), Friday, 20 December 2002 12:43 (twenty-three years ago)

Rar!

Graham (graham), Friday, 20 December 2002 22:18 (twenty-three years ago)

[revive]

Graham (graham), Thursday, 26 December 2002 12:20 (twenty-three years ago)

i'll be there :)

CarsmileSteve (CarsmileSteve), Thursday, 26 December 2002 13:20 (twenty-three years ago)

Madchen, Carsmile etc, The Angel, St Giles High St, 6pm ish

Graham (graham), Friday, 27 December 2002 04:50 (twenty-three years ago)

Miss Absolutely Fabulous ?

[email protected], Friday, 27 December 2002 11:38 (twenty-three years ago)

Good choice of pub! Might show my face if I'm back in town.

Tom (Groke), Friday, 27 December 2002 12:25 (twenty-three years ago)

Ooh, an FAP I might actually be able to make... I'll be the indie kid in grey fleecey thing who really needs a fucking haircut. I will also be wearing glasses. Do please say hello if I turn up.

William Bloody Swygart (mrswygart), Friday, 27 December 2002 13:59 (twenty-three years ago)

Unfortunately it looks like I'm going to have to miss it as I'll be stuck here til five and I have too much to do at the new home.

chris (chris), Friday, 27 December 2002 14:13 (twenty-three years ago)

NB the angel has two bars in the style of old skool pubs, i'd imagine we'll be in the half with carpet, unless we are *that* desparate to play darts (which is in the bit without carpet). anyway you can carry drinks from one to the other so it's not too much of a problem :)

CarsmileSteve (CarsmileSteve), Friday, 27 December 2002 14:54 (twenty-three years ago)

If I don't get there Steve, give Lucy a hug from me.

chris (chris), Friday, 27 December 2002 15:06 (twenty-three years ago)

'Too much to do at the new home'

A poor excuse, by any standards.

Ally C (Ally C), Friday, 27 December 2002 18:25 (twenty-three years ago)

Not if "too much to do" is a euphemism for "hot nasty sex involving kitchen utensils".

Dan Perry (Dan Perry), Friday, 27 December 2002 19:13 (twenty-three years ago)

They don't do that. Chris would be too worried about his utensils getting blunted.

N. (nickdastoor), Friday, 27 December 2002 19:18 (twenty-three years ago)

No chance, sadly, though Sunday may be a possibility.

Martin Skidmore (Martin Skidmore), Friday, 27 December 2002 19:39 (twenty-three years ago)

But N, THAT'S THE GOAL.

Dan Perry (Dan Perry), Friday, 27 December 2002 20:17 (twenty-three years ago)

And so I forgot how long Lord of the Rings actually was... whoops. Sorry.

William Bloody Swygart (mrswygart), Friday, 27 December 2002 21:27 (twenty-three years ago)

Dan, if it's any consolation, my activities on Friday did leave me with red-raw hands and an aching back and knees.

chris (chris), Monday, 30 December 2002 11:03 (twenty-three years ago)

Haha Chris, were you... hehe... putting... erm, giggle, I can't say it... furnituretogether...?

Graham (graham), Monday, 30 December 2002 11:07 (twenty-three years ago)

If you want to call it that Graham, yes.
