Exactly 10 more years until the end of the world*!

*according to the Mayan calendar and fractals taken from the I Ching

Adam Bruneau, Sunday, 22 December 2002 02:17 (twenty-three years ago)

Thank U j.lu !!!!!!!!!

oh and i read one thing that according to the mayan calendar the world is ending in 2002/2003, but another source says their calender ends in 2012 like that says. either way, the *last* time their calenar cycle ended was right when cortez arrived and ended their civilization, about 5 centuries ago - yay!

Vic (Vic), Sunday, 22 December 2002 13:25 (twenty-three years ago)

So are you suggesting the Mayan civilisation is in trouble again? What kind of trouble?

Martin Skidmore (Martin Skidmore), Sunday, 22 December 2002 13:42 (twenty-three years ago)

Wellllllll Martin, maybe their cosmological prediction does not necessariy have to be limited to prognostications regarding their own civilization; it's a cyclical system that could perhaps be applied to other civs living on the north american continent, if not humanity in general? I don't know, i haven't done enough research on mayan astrology. all i know is that it's based on Venus.

Vic (Vic), Sunday, 22 December 2002 13:49 (twenty-three years ago)

Thanks J.Lu, but why the picture of the mouldy egg?
