Mike Hanle y (mike), Tuesday, 24 December 2002 01:47 (twenty-three years ago)

rosemary (rosemary), Tuesday, 24 December 2002 02:51 (twenty-three years ago)

Maria (Maria), Tuesday, 24 December 2002 03:27 (twenty-three years ago)

Hey, Arthur - if you want, I can meet you @ Bradley w/ an entourage a la the Backstreet Boys. Call my people - we'll make arrangements.

David R. (popshots75`), Tuesday, 24 December 2002 05:19 (twenty-three years ago)

I'll get with anyone, I'm a slut. They said so in the Christmas office party thread!

Seriously, when is he coming? More seriously, are there good outlet malls in connecticut? I gotta spend two gift certificates.

Ally (mlescaut), Tuesday, 24 December 2002 05:40 (twenty-three years ago)

bnw and I breakfasted with Arthur! Arthur had a Western Omelet.

Arthur, it was wonderful to meet you and I hope you get to see Mary for lunch.

felicity (felicity), Tuesday, 31 December 2002 17:53 (twenty-three years ago)

ARTHUR WHAT IS A WESSTERN OMELET ?

anthony easton (anthony), Tuesday, 31 December 2002 18:02 (twenty-three years ago)

Arthur, we will meet you soon!!!!!!!

(guess whether this is r or m, ha ha ha)

rosemary/Mary (Mary), Wednesday, 1 January 2003 05:06 (twenty-three years ago)

Seven exclamation points, so obv. that was RM. Arthur thanks so much, we loved meeting you and your friends, I think we made a good impression...ahem...We miss you already...

Mary (Mary), Thursday, 2 January 2003 03:47 (twenty-three years ago)

Hi, everyone. Was swell meeting you all, hope to get together with more of you next time. Of course you made a good impression! Robt. and Janie are wonderful--Janie's the one who's somehow related to Ross Robinson, I think they're cousins, once removed. Her first cousin is Ross' mom, who's some celebrated nu age guru type.

Sorry I was so late responding to this thread, I was Internet-less there for a few days in the wilds of New England.

Daver--I actually snuck off the plane during the stopover at Kennedy. Next time I will be expecting Arthurmania in Windsor Locks!

Ally-there are a couple of huge outlet malls 30 miles or so down 95 from my Mom's house, in Clinton. It's still about an hour and a half from Manhattan, though. I think the Jersey outlet malls are closer.

Anthony--a western omelot, well I'm not sure I even remember. I've seen a million omelots and I've rocked them all. But I'm no expert. I think it usually has green peppers, onions and bacon or ham. I normally have a Denver omelot, but it wasn't on the menu. I think they might be the same thing. And you're gonna kill me, but Sonnabend was closed for the holidays and MOMA Queens was closed the day I set aside to go out there. And I couldn't find the Barbara Freeman gallery. Sorry!

Arthur (Arthur), Thursday, 2 January 2003 17:05 (twenty-three years ago)

We've probably discussed this, but how close is Chester to Clinton? I was there over the holiday. The only chance I got to sneak away from my family was to visit my fab friend Doug DeMille, who lives in Bridgeport.

Sean (Sean), Thursday, 2 January 2003 17:13 (twenty-three years ago)

I've seen a million omelots and I've rocked them all.

Man after my own heart (the omelet reference, not the Bon Jovi one).

Ned Raggett (Ned), Thursday, 2 January 2003 17:15 (twenty-three years ago)

Sean--not far at all. Just down the CT River to 95 and then about 15 miles south. Chester--that's a very Christmas in Connecticut place to spend the holidays. You were so close to my mom's! Except I was in Boston most of the time.

You know, Felicity and bnw, right after I left you I ran into Andrew McCarthy on Greenwich St. He was looking so fly I thought I wasn't awake! He really did look fit and together, I thought he'd be more worn out.

God, I need an omelot right now.

Arthur (Arthur), Thursday, 2 January 2003 17:31 (twenty-three years ago)

ah, yes, you were in the Mannequin District.

felicity (felicity), Thursday, 2 January 2003 17:40 (twenty-three years ago)

Sean was in NYC environs as well -- I did hear rumours to that effect...What is up with all these ILXmen thinking they can swoop into our area and not make contact? At least we snagged Arthur; you're next Sean...

Mary (Mary), Thursday, 2 January 2003 21:38 (twenty-three years ago)

I was 2 hours from NYC though, AND visiting my parents on holiday. There's no way I could have made it down there. If I'm ever in Manhattan for pleasure I'll be sure and let you know.

Sean (Sean), Thursday, 2 January 2003 22:05 (twenty-three years ago)

well if the ILXor can't come to the mountain, sometimes the mountain will get its car out of parking in New Jersey and road trip to Connecticut -- but sorry we missed you Sean.

felicity (felicity), Thursday, 2 January 2003 22:09 (twenty-three years ago)

Mary (Mary), Friday, 3 January 2003 01:34 (twenty-three years ago)

Yes, did it? I was about to send you a card when that business with the landlady came up so I wasn't sure what your new address was.
