Tracer Hand (tracerhand), Monday, 30 December 2002 03:35 (twenty-three years ago)

means stay away from celebrity hobbit fuckers

Queen G (Queeng), Monday, 30 December 2002 12:58 (twenty-three years ago)

Maybe she meant that stupid people end up having roads/conference centres/apartment blocks named after them.

I often wonder who Jasmine Allen is (from "The Jasmine Allen Estate" on TV's The Bill). I worry that I ought to know who this person is/was, even though it is only TV fiction.

It means you should only be in the papers three times in your life, you rodeo goon! Or on the side of a building. Something like that.

Arthur (Arthur), Monday, 30 December 2002 21:44 (twenty-three years ago)

Tracer, it's possible that your grandmother hated fun.

Fools Names and Faces In Public Places
by Betty Jackson
Monday, April 24, 2006
My mother used to quote this little proverb: Fools names and faces are always seen in public places. She told me that foolish people write their names and profanities on public property. I can say that I was never tempted to become a foolish person in that regard!

the names thing i get - it's a graffitti reference. but faces? all i can think of is what nabisco said. "i stay inside: i am wise!" ???

Tracer Hand, Thursday, 21 June 2007 15:33 (nineteen years ago)

Maybe she meant they would later be seen on wanted posers. Or magazine covers.

Ms Misery, Thursday, 21 June 2007 15:34 (nineteen years ago)

maybe it's a reference to attention seekers being exclusively turds

darraghmac, Thursday, 21 June 2007 15:36 (nineteen years ago)

All posers are wanted.
