Getting spots in your late 20s C or D

leigh its possible you have rosacea which is a mild outbreak of small red rash-like spots...and more people get them than you may think

do you exfoliate?

i got a couple of spots over the past week, and i'm wondering if it's in part because i didn't bring my face scrub home ...

Leigh, I have / had the same problem, too (zit-wise) - I attribute my dilemma to a poor diet (mmm Taco Bell), poor sleep habits (mmm 3:30 AM) and poor bathroom hygeine - most of my acne vanished when I realized that I wasn't in college anymore & I didn't need to use the same stanky, dirty, musty bath towel for 2 weeks. If your bed sheets haven't been changed in a while, that might also contribute - ick dirt poo. If you do try the clean towel / sheet thing, it'll only take a couple of days to see results - I was using 15 bottles of astringent a day to fight off the pimples, but then I actually, y'know, did laundry, and 3 days later there was an obvious change in my complexion (for the better, natch).

Rosacea did cross my mind but it's more likely to be related to the medication i'm currently taking and the knock on hormone effects.

It's just a bit of a pisser having clear skin through my teens and most of my 20s to get a face full of zits at this age.

I know lots of girls who became severely spotty after coming off the pill. It's pretty outrageous. One girl I know has had acne as a result of this for a year, and in that time she's tried everything to get rid of it, with little success.

i'm not on the pill, but what i'm taking is like a high dose mini pill for gynae horridness which i won't go into here, been checking it out on the newsgroups but it's hard to wade through the somewhat hysterical posts to get any solid info.
