Its my first day back on the job from the holidays. Dud or super massive D.U.D.?

It is my first day of work today since the 24th. I am temping. I am supposed to be stuffing binders with information packets. the information, however, had no holes punched in it. i have been waiting since 10:15 this morning for the holes to be punched and they have not been punched. i am basically being paid to read the nytimes and read ilx. i am at work, and yet i am not avoiding responsibility by being here right now.

I'm back on Thursday, which should be just about tolerable, but then I am on a training course on Friday (putting Oracle forms on the Web), which I confidently expect to feature me snoring at the back.
