another in the long line of threads about people that I think are a genuis (see also Sid Waddell). Maker of fine clothes, collector of tat, perhaps Britain's greatest fashion export (at least to the far East). I think he's great. And his book is lovely, right down to the cute little magnifying glass you get with it.

well I think they are lovely, classic tailoring. and not conventional at all, the stripes inside the cuffs of his current shirts are grebt.

I never realised he was responsible for the popularity of the filofax in the eighties though.

I'm still debating about the cut of his suits, although I just bought one. The jackets seem to be too long on purpose, but, you know, nice attention to details and all.
