Do you have many? Is it actually science that drinking and excess give you more wrinkles? Eamonn Dunphy looks like it is. I am not worried about wrinkles I just wanted to ask.

I have smile lines. From smiling too much.

WELL I AM VERY WORRIED I blame all the people I know who are turning 30 this year. I came very close to buying anti ageing eye cream on Monday. It is very pricey though, it would put a severe dent in my Botox fund.

Under my eyes are slightly wrinkly. In my more self-concious moments I worry this skin will start to look like scrotum skin when I get older.

Emma, has the Leslie-Ash-turns-into-trout injection fiasco not put you off any such things for life?

I don't think I have any.

I don't have wrinkles on my face. My nutsack is another story.

(Oh dear, I fear for the state of my inbox by the time this evening rolls around.)

Drinking sure doesn't help, but the single most cost-effective way to protect your skin is to wear sunscreen and/or stay out of the sun.

That said, I faithfully use an alpha hydroxy lotion, and routinely am assumed to be younger than I am. This is good, because no way in hell can I afford Creme de la Mer.

Dan: Um, thanks for sharing, I think.

I lost momentary control of my id for a second there. Sorry.

i thought this thread was going to be about those great toys from the 80's that looked like bloodhound/beagle cross and also had a hole in the back of their head so you could use them as a puppet.

You've seen me in person, Ronan: do you imagine for a second that I ever look at a mirror closely enough to be able to answer this?
