Not necessarily being heavy in debt, but being overdrawn on your overdraft (no hard cash). Does it suck or is it liberating? What csan one do when it comes to this? Your support, please.

It sucks, no question.

No offense to data entry clerks. The world wouldn't go round without them. But it is basically me taking a £10k paycut and 5 year regression for me to go back to it. Which is dud.

Having no money is not freeing. The only thing that is freeing is having so much money you don't have to think about it. And I don't know anyone that rich.

I wish they'd stop the practice of paying out January payslips in the middle of December 'so people have money for Xmas' (ie wasting it on stupid shit for other ppl), because the long-slow death rattle of a skint January in the most grindingly oppressive city on Earth has me eyeing the 1,784 paracetemols in front of me with keen interest

"Hi everyone--This is kind of kooky of me, but I am asking everyone's permission to borrow band money (what we got paid to play at the beginning of the year show) to pay for about 150 dollars worth of the hollowbody i just won on ebay...Now that everyone is thinking "bad idea" to themselves, here's my promise---I'll pay it back within two weeks, either by reselling the hollowbody because I dont like it or by selling my strat because I like the hollowbody oh- so- much more than the strat. Rob and i talked about this, and it's ok with him provided that its Ok with everyone else, which is only fair because it is everyones money..."

no money sucks big time. nothing can compare to that sinking feeling in the pit of your stomach when the machine rejects your card and you have essential things to buy ( like food ).
my stint of poverty is over now, thanks to a move and a flatmate, and i never, EVER, want to go back to that situation again.
it is degrading and soul-destroying.

having no money whatsoever is great because it forces you to be in inventive. however. having no money whatsoever and being stuck in a different city REALLY sucks.

That reminds me of a t-shirt I once saw -- "I have given up my search for reality and now am looking for a good fantasy."

It's a pain in the ass. You can never be free because half the time you can't think of anything else. I've had no money at times. At other times I've had enough to not worry about bills. In both states I was probably equally miserable, because misery is always the same. But when I've got money, I'm depressed by life and love and IMPORTANT things. With no money, I'm depressed by the stress of rent and goddam gas bills. This is degrading.

I'm entering data. But as of today it loom=ks like I might be getting paid more for it. Yay! Plus I've only a few months left to go, so it's not so bad...
