Do you spend too much time on ILx? Or too less? And do you let other things wait for ILx?

I spend waaaaayyyyy too much time on ILX. But it's this sort of compulsive thing that I have to run in and grab it while my housemates are away from their computers, so I have to get in as much as possible before they come back from the pub/wake up/finish supper.

I'm concerned about the amount of time I'm spending on it at the moment. But I really don't have anything else to do with my time right now. Which I suppose is the concerning thing. I should spend more time writing for real, which seems to be suffering.

It's the only place I go on the net really.

I should spend more time writing for real, which seems to be suffering.

Let me echo that.

One should spend 5-10 minutes a day here, problem is that I'm not good at taking my own advice.

Nicole (Nicole), Saturday, 18 January 2003 16:28 (twenty-three years ago)

I had one of those surveys through the post today, the "Fill me in and you might win some money, or you will more likely get mountains of junk mail".
One of the questions was "Roughly how many hours per week do you and your family spend on the Internet at home?"
1-2 hours, 3-4 hours, 4-8 hours, 8 hours+.
Where's the option for 8 hours+ per day, each.
We probably both spend 1-2 hours a day on ILX and AAD.

what jel-- said

erik, Saturday, 18 January 2003 19:49 (twenty-three years ago)

whenever you're bored at work. Especially if your job requires so little of you.

Part of why I haven't gotten internet at home is I'm afraid I'd be on here even more.

not so much time that it begins interfering with one's studies, which is why I try to spend less time here these days.

It's time to stop when spiritual fulfillment has been reached.

naked as sin (naked as sin), Sunday, 19 January 2003 01:30 (twenty-three years ago)

Err, entirely too much time really. It's kind of embarrassing, though I'm glad to see I'm not alone.
