I have a wicker chair that occasionally features about 50% of my entire wardrobe. There's a baseball bat by my door, for those moments where I just *have* to pretend I'm in Bugsy Malone.
My ceiling is white, and during the night it has scary shadows and flecks of light on it, which give me nightmares.
My bed is big and comfy and, for the next few months at least, empty apart from me.

I don't much notice colours, but the carpet is a deep red, as are the curtains, and the walls are cream, except the wall behind me which has red rag rolling over white, a legacy of my ex-wife.

Large pine wardrobe & chest of drawers. Futon sofa-bed.
Desk with leather chair for my PC & CD player with my bookcase next to it.
CD rack and table by the bed. Boxes with loads of old magazines shunted into the right corner.
Still very much resembles a student's bedroom.

Except now I have a new swivel chair, that painting has been swapped with a Kandinsky one, that little table has been folded up to make room for my IKEA CD holder and bookcase (both a very nice dark blue colour).

If I'm gonna be productive on a Sunday, I might as well be comfortable doing it.

I have one big, south facing window. When I get around to making curtains they will be dark green and 3 metres long so they touch the floor. At the moment, when I get undressed at night, I am shielded from my neighbours' view (at least I hope I am) by a skanky net curtain and an overgrown fuchsia bush in the garden.
On top of my chest of drawers I have a Swedish glass candle holder, a dark green silk jewellery box with beaded dragonflies, 3 spiced fig candles and a japanese fan. By my bed i have a small stereo, a pile of books, lots of perfume and a faux art deco mirror.
