As in, "I had to stop looking at dirty pictures on the Internet before I started turning into That Person." Or, "I had to stop buying Krautrock reissues before I started turning into That Person."

(that's kinda flip but it's actually also kinda true, I am in favor of becoming whichever That Person you're heading towards becoming without worrying about how people will think of it)

It's happening to me right now. I've got so many habits that I've taken too far, and I'm only just realising it. Today was pretty catastrophic in its revelations about what I am on the road to becoming. Either I raise my game in the next few weeks/months, or I'm fucked for life.
