How would you launch your invasion? How would you repel one? This can be about planets or countries. Is it important that the invaders have a hidden weakness, be it ignorance of basic microbiology, an aversion to precious metal, or atheism/false gods.

I'd genetically alter a strain of bovine visna virus and release it into the place-to-be-invaded's population, blame it on a green chimpanzee and homosexuals, charge them lots of money for drugs that don't do anything to help, criminalize any drugs that do help, then sit back and watch them die off from across the ocean.

If this was the 60s, and I was a population-control freak with enormous resources at my disposal and no public retribution to fear, as I was being protected by multiple world governments who had something to gain from it, that is.
