"Elaine, they didn't bring your newspaper. Take that guy's."

"But that's stealing, that would be wrong!"

"What do you care, you're already going to Hell."

David Warburton is Classic in The Emperor's New Groove and I can well believe he's classic in The Tick, but Dud in Seinfeld, as he's in Seinfeld, which is dud.

Andrew Farrell (afarrell), Tuesday, 21 January 2003 15:57 (twenty-three years ago)

so wrong andrew. seinfeld is the best television show ever produced.

g (graysonlane), Tuesday, 21 January 2003 16:17 (twenty-three years ago)

Let's not start this again.

Ally C (Ally C), Tuesday, 21 January 2003 17:18 (twenty-three years ago)

I find it kind of amusing that no Seinfeld thread ever gets past three posts without someone going "Seinfeld sux0r" but Simpsons quote threads can run over 200 posts without anyone voicing any dissent.

Justyn Dillingham (Justyn Dillingham), Tuesday, 21 January 2003 19:44 (twenty-three years ago)

That's because The Simpsons is great and Seinfeld isn't.

Martin Skidmore (Martin Skidmore), Tuesday, 21 January 2003 19:49 (twenty-three years ago)

Puddy classic?

all signs point to yes

Spencer Chow (spencermfi), Tuesday, 21 January 2003 19:53 (twenty-three years ago)

I liked Seinfeld, thought it was a great show, but can see why some people might hate it (for example, it spawned horrible, horrible catch-phrases).

No sane person could hate the Simpsons however.

fletrejet, Tuesday, 21 January 2003 19:54 (twenty-three years ago)

"Why can't dip be a meal?"

Aaron W (Aaron W), Tuesday, 21 January 2003 19:55 (twenty-three years ago)

That's because The Simpsons is great and Seinfeld isn't.

Heed the voice of wisdom.

Ned Raggett (Ned), Tuesday, 21 January 2003 19:58 (twenty-three years ago)

OK SEINFELD HATERS. WE DO NOT JUMP INTO YOUR OTHER THREADS AND REPEATEDLY WRITE 400 POSTS ABOUT HOW WE DON'T LIKE YOUR SHOW. FUCK OFF ALREADY.

Sorry, it's something what's been bugging me since the inception of ILE. I don't like the Simpsons but I don't feel the need to point this out over and over again on Simpsons threads - indeed I DON'T READ THEM. If it was a thread "Do you like the SImpsons?" I might jump in and post "not really". If it was a thread, "What's your favorite Mr. Burns quote?" I'd just bloody ignore it.

ANYWAY. Puddy is the greatest man who ever lived and his fur coat was phenomenol.

Ally (mlescaut), Tuesday, 21 January 2003 20:44 (twenty-three years ago)

I love Ally when she yells.

nickalicious (nickalicious), Tuesday, 21 January 2003 20:45 (twenty-three years ago)

I am trying to bring the love to Patrick Warburton. That I have none to spare for Seinfeld is becase I have a small and shriveled heart.

Andrew Farrell (afarrell), Tuesday, 21 January 2003 20:59 (twenty-three years ago)

Puddy as the Tick was excellent. I was so worried for the live-action version of that show, as I was a monstrous fan of the animated version (the Tick's monologues were out-of-this-world!), but Puddy dealt it a masterful turn.

Yes, I realize his name is Patrick Warburton, but to me he'll always be Puddy.

nickalicious (nickalicious), Tuesday, 21 January 2003 21:09 (twenty-three years ago)

Gotta support the team.

Yeah, I know.

David R. (popshots75`), Wednesday, 22 January 2003 07:16 (twenty-three years ago)

i need a fucking 8 ball jacket

chaki (chaki), Wednesday, 22 January 2003 08:51 (twenty-three years ago)

I like that he was supposed to be a very short term character but he stayed on because he reminded Seinfeld of Superman.
