Who would win a fight between a rhino and an elephant and what is the strongests animal in the world. Why does an alligator not mess with either?

Why does an alligator not mess with either?

Simple geography.

Alligator - in the Americas. Elephant - Africa & Asia. And those wily American zookeepers have so much nous they even keep the reptile and the pachyderm in different enclosures. Way to go.

why don't polar bears eat etc.

Any animal versus animal fight is dependant on wether the match is home or away. A Polar bear would kick fuck out of pretty much anything on its home turf, give it an away match with a desert opponent and its had it.

I am not sure how we would persuade a rhino and elephant to fight. The latter has a big weight advantage, and tusks are longer than the rhino's horn, so elephant wins.

Strongest? How do we measure? I'd guess the blue whale, ust for size, and on land the elephant.

I don't think crocodiles bother rhinos or elephants either. Why would they risk their lives against much bigger opponents?

Elephants and rhinos do not get along in the wild. Adolescent bulls occasionally kill rhinos, given the opportunity.

Strongest animal? I dunno, but hyenas smell pretty noxious.

Home field advantage is overrated.

Anyone watch any of that show on last night featuring japanese dude versus bear eating hotdogs?

I enjoyed the sumo wrestler vs. the orangutan.

The Man Vs. Beast show was highly entertaining. In the hot-dog eating contest between the bear and the man, there was an American flag behind the bear and a Japanese flag behind the man. Was I supposed to root for the man because he is a man, or the bear because he is American? I picked the bear, and I'm glad I did, because he won handily.

The only croc to take on an elephant was scuppered when the tusker wrapped its trunk around the reptile's snappy jaws, holding them shut, then picked him up and bashed him repeatedly on the bank of the Nile. This has gone down in croc folklore. These days, they don't mess.
