Blocked on a peice of writing

its supposed to be about my aspergers, but its city wide and it feels too personal, to solipistic.

Can you write it from the third-person, or does it have to be "first"? Also, have you considered taking a clinical approach? I know when I have to write about medical/health issues that hit too close to home I try to get into the mindset that this is an opportunity to educate and that I should make the most of the opportunity. When it's too personal, though, I usually end-up either glossing-over the more intimate things or I use the third-person option. Good luck!
