How bloody good were they?!Enough sherbet to inflate a five-year-old,and a bit of liquorice to whip your younger brother/sister with,then eat quickly so they couldn't get it off you and whip you back.Brilliant!

I was actually told the answer to that in the pub the other day: they used to put all kinds of erm, crap in dog food which had a high ash content, hence white poo, whereas now they have to put proper meat in. But what of the sherebet? Did the colouring make kids hyperactive? Was it too sugary? Was it (like the original Volkswagen Beetle) just too expensive a thing to make?
