Has anyone else made one of these things?I spent less than twenty quid at the DIY store and am now the proud owner of a spud cannon.So far I have landed fragments of potato on a car in the next street,taken pot-shots at the cider-guzzlers in the park,and gone for the distance record by launching from the roof of a council tower block(the same one we use for Urban Golf)!
Apparently,if you soak the potato in Easy-Start first,they ignite on launching and stay lit,so they set fire to whatever they hit.A bit like napalm!
Any suggestions for suitable targets?Tell me what to shoot at and I'll post the results as and when I get back from my mission.As long as I don't get nicked,that is.
