what about the end scene, where the survivors walk up to camera with the actors who played them? what did people think of that? I know it was widely criticised for sentimentality, but it was a good way of showing that the events in the film (or ones similar to them) happenned in real life to real people.

I've just said this on facebook but it bears repeating. I was on the bus (a local city bus not a coach, ie not a long journey) and a man next to me was watching something on his phone (sans headphones, which is what initially drew my attention) and I looked across and he was watching Schindler's List!
