Kasparov leads over computer

I guess that one day computers will always beat even him, but I love that Canute-like, last man in at British Bulldog, he's still standing as AI and mega-processors throw their worst at him.

Do you care about the man v. machine chess wars?

I read an article about this recently - it's a fit-up apparently in that Kasparov gets told beforehand what gambits the computer is going to use.

I think it was the same article which talked about what games computers could and couldn't win at. They decided Dirty Crossword was the hardest.

have they designed a computer that can play blow football?

I believe Buckaroo has still not been 'solved' either.

Tom, is that true about him cheating or are you confusing it with Blind Date?

SORRY KASPAROV for my total slander! It was the previous man vs machine match, Kramnik vs Deep Fritz, which was rigged.

Think before you speak, Ewing.

This looks interesting, but:

You'll see kids still play Tic-Tac-Toe with each other, quickly learning the simple strategy to win or draw every time.

They do?

I think he should challenge Deep Fritz to a leisurely game of frisbee.

re: leisurely frisbee: any time anywhere. bring it on.
