smee (smee), Wednesday, 29 January 2003 14:57 (twenty-three years ago)

I feel like a fucking idiot, because I first thought "Denmark, hrmm what animal starts with K? Bugger. Dominican Republic then. Cat. Tangerine." (scrolls down the page) "D'oh."

smee (smee), Wednesday, 29 January 2003 15:33 (twenty-three years ago)

Someone please explain to me why it works out like this (kangaroo in denmark with oranges).

Sarah McLusky (coco), Wednesday, 29 January 2003 15:35 (twenty-three years ago)

If you multiply any number between 1 and 10 by 9 and add the 2 digits, you always get 9, so you always get 4 & D. There are very few countries beginning with D, animals beginning with K and fruits beginning with O so most people get the same. Except smart arses who've seen it before or have a vast knowledge of geography/animals/fruit.

smee (smee), Wednesday, 29 January 2003 15:39 (twenty-three years ago)

Thanks, smee.

Sarah McLusky (coco), Wednesday, 29 January 2003 15:45 (twenty-three years ago)

No problem, I only know coz I've seen it before!

smee (smee), Wednesday, 29 January 2003 15:47 (twenty-three years ago)

I cheated and just read the thread. I am mystic.

Ned Raggett (Ned), Wednesday, 29 January 2003 15:51 (twenty-three years ago)

Mystic Ned - classic!

smee (smee), Wednesday, 29 January 2003 15:52 (twenty-three years ago)

Taking Sides: Mystic Ned vs Mystic Pizza!

Dan Perry (Dan Perry), Wednesday, 29 January 2003 15:52 (twenty-three years ago)

I love my Ned but he's no pizza.

Graham (graham), Wednesday, 29 January 2003 15:53 (twenty-three years ago)

Have you ever slathered me with cheese and sauce and taken a great huge steaming bite and...um, anyway.

Ned Raggett (Ned), Wednesday, 29 January 2003 16:01 (twenty-three years ago)

Thanks for that image ned.

Chris V. (Chris V), Wednesday, 29 January 2003 16:02 (twenty-three years ago)

Grape-eating dog in Deutschland.

Colin Meeder (Mert), Wednesday, 29 January 2003 16:22 (twenty-three years ago)

Haha I forgot my 9 x table. And I've already forgotten what I came out withas well. I am in the 2% of the population that is useless.

Archel (Archel), Wednesday, 29 January 2003 16:28 (twenty-three years ago)

Never done this before. Got Denmark then Kiwi then got stuck...

David (David), Wednesday, 29 January 2003 16:30 (twenty-three years ago)

Koala eating apple in Denmark.

naked as sin (naked as sin), Wednesday, 29 January 2003 19:52 (twenty-three years ago)

I really didn't feel like following directions, and now somewhere in Denmark is a Kat eating Toffee.

nabisco (nabisco), Wednesday, 29 January 2003 20:08 (twenty-three years ago)

Basically I wish toffee grew on trees.

nabisco (nabisco), Wednesday, 29 January 2003 20:09 (twenty-three years ago)

Denmark, Koala, Avocado (is a fruit really).

suzy (suzy), Wednesday, 29 January 2003 20:20 (twenty-three years ago)

a reticulated chipmunk eating a kalamata olive in niger, go me!

cat, Wednesday, 29 January 2003 21:36 (twenty-three years ago)

I think I may have cheated. I couldn't think of Denmark or anything else (also, djibouti's not a country) so I settled on the DPRK (north korea) and followed up with the African Elephant who was of course eating a Tangerine. I can't tell whether I'm actually weird or not.

Millar (Millar), Wednesday, 29 January 2003 21:42 (twenty-three years ago)

Since when is Djibouti not a country? For not being a country they've got some awfully serious guys with uniforms and flags and stuff pretending to enforce imaginary borders.

nabisco (nabisco), Thursday, 30 January 2003 00:12 (twenty-three years ago)

Yes, what are you talking about? This Nabisco has gazed upon my nation and knows of which he speaks.

Prime Minister Dileita Mohamed Dileita (nabisco), Thursday, 30 January 2003 00:13 (twenty-three years ago)

I thought Djibouti was just a city. I guess it's the capital AND the country. shit. I should double-check myself more often

Millar (Millar), Thursday, 30 January 2003 00:17 (twenty-three years ago)

two years pass...
Denmark, kudu, ugli fruit. I didn't even think of kangaroo or koala - had to rack my brain for ages "there are no animals beginning with k!"

Rumpie, Saturday, 25 June 2005 09:10 (twenty years ago)

Denmark, koala, apple

dog latin (dog latin), Saturday, 25 June 2005 10:25 (twenty years ago)

Haha, I think that my multi-language status actually helped me escape normality here, in that when I started thinking of a country with "D" in the begining the first thing that came to mind was "deutschland" and I was like "nooo, I'm doing this test in english!", so I immediatley ran as far away as possible from that region, thus putting Denmkark out of my mind. I opted fer the luvly Dominican Republic instead, got me a cat, and I actually had to look up the tomato for it cos I honestly couldn't think of any fruits.

Daniel_Rf (Daniel_Rf), Saturday, 25 June 2005 11:06 (twenty years ago)

I think that 98% figure is a little screwy

Post-Phil, Saturday, 25 June 2005 11:39 (twenty years ago)

tiger eating an apricot in dominica
