Sadie Frost: Incisive Action

Jude Law and Sadie Frost are to co-produce a film in an effort to save their floundering marriage. The couple will collaborate on the sci-fi thriller The World of Tomorrow, in which Law stars opposite Gwyneth Paltrow. The news comes amid reports that their marriage is on the rocks and that Frost was recently admitted to an LA hospital following a suspected suicide attempt. "There have been problems with their marriage," admits Frost's spokeswoman, Mina Khera, ".... [but] working on a film together is just what they need, as they will be able to spend time with each other."

Surely the point should be that the film is an artistic endeavour rather than ego-massaging therapy for a failed marriage? I'm not going to see this on principle. Also on a matter of good taste but mostly on principle.

It will be shit. Every film with Sadie Frost in it is shit.

Lara, thing is, I've heard she's chilling out in Cromwell Hospital as we speakulate.

All this marriage-saving is depressing. You don't save a marriage by ringing a 3am Girl/Dom Mohan to talk about it to 2 million or so people, for example.

I think it's quite sad, considering when I met SF&JL (business meeting scenario) they seemed really lovely and low-key. And kept some nice company, eg. Katrin Cartlidge (RIP, boo hoo).

Also the film sounds very Robert Ludlum-ish in title. Poo.

Surely if it's to save their marriage then it would be starring Jude Law and Sadie Frost, no?

Sadie Frost can't act.

But she has made looking smug in press photos into an art form

She wears vintage dresses with panache too.
