Is this the worst show ever? Could Cory Feldman possibly be any more boorish?

The guy who came up with the show is the genius who was behind the much-missed Popsmear magazine. He's a good guy and I hope the show succeeds. Corey Feldman is an ass.

I wouldn't call it Classic, but other than The Real World when I was in high school, it's the only reality show I've watched more than one episode of. Corey's a weenie, but I don't think the show suffers for it ... Vince is like everybody's favorite big brother.

I saw part of the episode where they were eating sushi off a naked woman. CF, Hamma and EL were like, 'no way I'm doing this, it's demeaning to women etc etc', meanwhile all the women on the show along with Vince Neil were noshing away like madmen.

I wanted to love this show so much--along with "Highschool Reunion." Sadly, after the first episode, both of these shows got totally boring. I am totally addicted to Joe Millionaire and American Idol, though. And to think a month ago I never even watched television.

seven months pass...

Season three has debuted - and the show's about 100 times better, now that VH1 is doing it - but especially for the convergence of Flavor Flav, Brigitte Nielsen, and Charo (all of whom basically rule).

Um...another revive because this is now officially the greatest thing ever to happen on television.

1. Charo calling her housemate "Flavor Flake".
2. Flava and Dave Coulier becoming fast friends, then Coulier quickly rearranging the bed situation when he hears Flav's loud-ass snoring.
3. Can anyone believe what a self-centered ass-clown Jordan Knight is being? On second though, don't answer that.
4. Bridgette Nielson's "booze lag."
5. Charo. And Flava Flav. Living. In a house. Administrator, lock pop culture plzkthx.

I HATED the first (second? I don't even know) Surreal Life, but this is seriously the most promising pilot episode I've seen in years. I can't WAIT for the episode where they have to record a song together!

I've been meditating on it lately, and I think the key difference between the Surreal Life this time and the Feldman one is that no one liked anyone on the old one. Not a single likeable person there, as opposed to the new season which is populated with people (exception of Knight, perhaps, though he was a New Kid [my favorite, in fact, in those days] and is excused, in my book) that are loveable in one way or another, even if just for their unabashed craziness (Nielson).
