I'm new here and would like to know the context behind the creation of this place.

"I Love Music" created as a discussion board for online pop fanzine Freaky Trigger.

"I Love Everything" created when lots of personal/non-music content was coming up on "I Love Music".

"ilxor.com" created when the server hosting those two boards began to get erratic and we decided we needed our own one.

tom ewing and mark s were arguing about hostess cupcakes vs. hostess twinkies. tom sided with cupcakes while mark sided with the buffy musical. ned was here already.

I dreamt it one day, the dream also involved hover cars, but I couldn't make them work. The boards were easier to engineer.

Funnily enough, just the other day I was thinking how a craze for forcing the new answers to make acrostics could completely turn ILE to mush.
