glam party was GREAT! best dressed people were alison as cyndi lauper, menelaus as elton john, duckling as gary numan and of course me. photos coming soon. the international telepaths played TWICE for all the people who came late. jq made a really incredible mulled wine and proved herself to be the Queen of All Things Hummus.

we are at duckling's house for DCLMC, which has involved bloody marys and too much nachoes and guacamole and salsa and refried beans. we have listened to the shirelles, a compilation of 50s hits, the eagles, and foreigner's greatest hits. the DCLMC zine is going FUCKING GREAT. and either i am deluded by my own arrogance, or international socialists boi WIGGLED HIS BOTTOM at me when i was grocery shopping. i am touched, no-one has ever wiggled their bottom at me before.

I have happy visions of drunk girls with salsa stains on their clothes singing along to Julio; I can easily imagine the quivering (and in some instances tuneless) falsettos and the way the choruses are sung much louder than the verses because only a couple of people know all the words.
