Who was your favourite character from "Fame"?

Obviously I'm talking about the TV series. One shocking discovery at the Dublin FAP was that there are people too young to remember Fame the TV series. So this thread is essentially for oldarses.

So anyway, who was your favourite character? Leroy, with his non-conformist bad-assness, Bruno with his love of exciting new technology (and curly hair), Mr Schorofsky, the old-fashioned yet kindly music teacher, or one of the others?

My dad always hated Leroy, so I felt a certain fondness for him. But I think I had a big crush on the tall girl who played the cello (thus laying the basis for my later liking of B&S).

Moments before my first time in Central Park I was sitting by a fountain thing just south of the SE corner, and the black female dance teacher from this turned up and danced around there for a while. She was clearly trying some thoughts out for choreography for some shoot there.

Anyway, Leroy probably, though I can't say it's stuck in my memory terribly well.

Oh, Doris without a doubt. I'm not sure she had any discernible talent, but she struck a blow for us frizzy-haired kids everywhere.

was it Bruno that did the song about Schorofsky? thats pretty much the only thing i remember from Fame - i can't tell if it was fantastic or atrocious - perhaps both

Good god, who or what character is that? You just know he's been dogged by accusations of pedophilia his entire life and/or may be wearing a suit but rarely showers.

It's gotta be Leroy. That boy could move. I'd rather forget all the ballet moves he had to do though, and the tights. Ewww.
