Has anyone else been having trouble with Yahoo mail?

Whenever I compose and then try to send an email, I just get a blank "compose" window again and can't even go back to my original email. This used to happen sometimes but I could at least go back to the original email. And when I'd resubmit, it would go through. Now it doesn't work even after a few tries sometimes. I've been thinking of largely switching over to my York address anyway but I was wondering if this is a common problem.

I sometimes, from one individual only, get mail delayed 3 hours. Yahoo inserts it inbetween whatever has come since. It wasn't acting up this morning though.

Maybe it's a problem with Yahoo Canada? Does anyone have a yahoo.ca account?

I have a .ca account and it's been working fine. Are you using a different browser that usual? I once had a similar problem but it was because I was using a new version of netscape

Gack, I've been experiencing this on all the different computers I use. It's been a while too.

Problems with yahoo macs.

I'm trying to use yahoo mail via both mozilla and netscape on a friend's mac. Everytime I put in my username and password it keeps trying to download an "untyped binary data" file. this takes about a minute and achieves absolutely nothing as the next time I go to the site it tries to do the same thing again, with the same result. I've tried clearing the yahoo cookies but to no avail. I have aso tried it on his flatmate's G4 laptop using safari with exactly the same result. Is this a mac specific problem? Any advice of any kind would be much appreciated.

No problem with Yahoo mail here, and I use a Mac.

I just tried out Safari and Exploder too, and they both worked fine.

they've recently renamed themselves to ymail.com in order to taunt google. maybe that's why you're having problems.

Well, just tried it on Explorer on another mac and it worked.

Upon logging in, I was amused to see a message recommending I use sarari or firefox.

Yeah, safari's great. I love it!

Anyone else having trouble logging in (i.e., it won't let you)?

My main mail is still Yahoo. For the past week or so, when I click Send, some of the time the message sends, and some of the time it just sits there and does not send. No good. No good at all.

Mmm. For me, Yahoo Mail likes to reload the page every second. That's not fun.

Yahoo's webmail is atrocious
