TS Security vs 'Nuff Cash

Context: I am trying to move out of the house to NYC. I am temping and working at a record store to make money.

The Problem: I have been given the opportunity to take a more permanent position through my temp agency, an assignment that would last into the summer, when I plan to move. The job would pay less than I am used to making, and I am concerned that I would be locked into a job that wasnt providing me with enough money to move. Also, the job involves telemarketing. On the other hand, when I am waiting for my next assignment, I am not making any money at all. Should I risk it for mor sproadic yet higher wages, or should I just take what I can get?
Thanks!

I'd avoid it if it involved telemarketing. I couldn't do it.

My first job outta school was telemarketing wine. I was awful at it.

practically speaking, i could do it, but ethically, i would have a hard time. i should add, though, that the telemarketing would involve calling companies and not individuals at home.
