Aren't banana slugs asexual? I seem to recall some nature program about how one slug would slide up to another, they'd assume a slugish sixty-none position, and then copulate - each putting their penis (or "masculine part" into the other's vagina (or "feminine parts"). And then, when copulation was complete, they each bite off the other's penis and head off on their merry way. Please don't tell me this is just a figment of my imaginative memory.

1. At sixth-grade science camp we went to the redwoods. I stepped on a banana slug, barefotted, on a midnight trip to the facilities. The slug guts squished up between my toes. Ugh!
