I was thinking for a minute that there could be a totally racist, backfiring marketing campaign catastrophe when Smuckers released a range of egg rolls called "Inscrutables." Just change the U to I and rearrange.

But, no, they're to smart for that.....or are they.......

jess (dubplatestyle), Monday, 31 March 2003 05:09 (twenty-three years ago)

they need to make these with cheese inside instead of jelly. and courier them to me by the truckload.

di smith (lucylurex), Monday, 31 March 2003 05:10 (twenty-three years ago)

SMUCK

donna (donna), Monday, 31 March 2003 05:13 (twenty-three years ago)

jess (dubplatestyle), Monday, 31 March 2003 05:13 (twenty-three years ago)

donna (donna), Monday, 31 March 2003 05:15 (twenty-three years ago)

What is "Uncrustables" supposed to mean? Is it supposed to somehow refer to "The Untouchables"? What an unpleasant name.

slutsky (slutsky), Monday, 31 March 2003 05:17 (twenty-three years ago)

i am in new zealand. we don't have smuckers here. why do you ask? is it because i said jelly instead of jam?

di smith (lucylurex), Monday, 31 March 2003 06:28 (twenty-three years ago)

Uncrustables makes me think of some ghastly medical complaint.

C J (C J), Monday, 31 March 2003 08:07 (twenty-three years ago)

Yeuch, whatthehell are they trying to do with the name? Next it'll be Undogonastringables, mark my words. I mean, they're like mini pie thingys with peanut butter and jam in, right, so you'd actually _want_ some kind of crust to develop, surely, as soggy pastry is horrible. Do you put them in the toaster or what?

Now I have a craving for Pop Tartz, which I know is wrong.
