a) the atrociously worded scripts we were forced to read fromb) the atrociously slow computers we relied on to read questions and enter datac) the people on the other end who would call me a "fucking idiot" (gee, thanks, who do you think you are, my dad?) upon hearing me stammering trying to correct the scripts' awful grammar/phrasing (even in my darkest moments I've never stopped being a pedant) or cursing under my breath trying to come to grips with an ancient computer that took ten years to get to the next screen...
