Pretend Kung-Fu Fighting When You Are Sure Noone Else Is Around: C/D?

I like putting on my CDR of 'Music To Break Bones To' whenever I am a little bit stressed and overwrought and pretending I'm some badass Kung Fu expert, learned in the Shrieking Raven Style, taking out a roomful of baddies with my bare hands.

Yeah, I'm getting shades of that Star Wars Kid video too.

Anybody else do this? Am I alone in my Kung-Foolery? Classic or Dud?

It's weird that I'm not into that. I like plenty of Kung-Fu-related thought, but actual Kung-Fu is nothing I want to spend time practicing or considering. I got a couple Kung-Fu videos that explained how to rip out someone's throat or take off their kneecap, and I know there's more to it than that, but I'm just not into violence, really... or even "respectful violence" or whatever the hell Kung-Fu is supposedly all about. I think if someone was trying to kill me, I'd let them.

Heheh...see Boogie Nights and Double Happiness for examples of this phenomenon.

Oh, I have no fear of you knowing Dan, I think you've even seen me doing it. I'd be more worried about my dancing outside Ume last night.

I don't know kung fu. < /keanu >

I do enjoy flexing in front of a mirror however.

I do this with my friend when we're sure no one else is around. Usuallly we're pretty fucked up and have to remember that hitting eacht other can be painful.

Classic: I am always doing fake kung fu except only on brothers and boyfriend who is like a foot taller than me so even though I can kick up to my head, that's only his chest and all he has to do is put his hand on my head while I'm punching away, and then I get upset and run away.

Ah grasshopper, the great squirrel-tail-throwing move!

But Elvis did have chops!

geddit? (gcannon), Monday, 2 June 2003 19:31 (twenty-three years ago)

It's classic, I broke the sofa doing a flying elbow. Though, now I always have to sit in the broken down sunken bit.

Those kicks were fast as lightning...

oops (Oops), Monday, 2 June 2003 20:17 (twenty-three years ago)

I wish my kung fu was fake
