ailsa (ailsa), Thursday, 12 June 2003 18:38 (twenty-two years ago)

oops (Oops), Thursday, 12 June 2003 22:26 (twenty-two years ago)

SOMEONE HELP ME WITH A VAGUE RECOLLECTION OF A SIMPSONS EPISODE

There's loads of Springfield people out in some field and there's some animal on the loose and Homer doesn't understand what it is and says something like 'Run, this x x [name of another animal it vaguely resembles] will kill us all' or something.

N. (nickdastoor), Thursday, 12 June 2003 22:53 (twenty-two years ago)

N search http://www.snpp.com for transcripts

stevem (blueski), Thursday, 12 June 2003 22:54 (twenty-two years ago)

I don't have enough to go on!

(the 'kill us all' bit is probably wrong - it's just something he says a fair bit)

N. (nickdastoor), Thursday, 12 June 2003 23:00 (twenty-two years ago)

this giant woman will devour us all!

electric sound of jim (electricsound), Thursday, 12 June 2003 23:09 (twenty-two years ago)

I know!

N. (nickdastoor), Thursday, 12 June 2003 23:13 (twenty-two years ago)

All I keep getting is that and stuff about rhinos. It could have been rhinos but I can't find any mention of the quote where Homer thinks they are just funny coloured horses or whatever it is. I want to know because it cracked me up.

N. (nickdastoor), Thursday, 12 June 2003 23:14 (twenty-two years ago)

also note that the poll is also voted for by americans

Matt (Matt), Thursday, 12 June 2003 23:16 (twenty-two years ago)

Um, and also note that the list is entirely men.

Chris P (Chris P), Friday, 13 June 2003 02:32 (twenty-two years ago)

the winner certainly wasn't going to be Marge

electric sound of jim (electricsound), Friday, 13 June 2003 02:33 (twenty-two years ago)

I should have been nominated.

Curt1s St3ph3ns, Friday, 13 June 2003 02:49 (twenty-two years ago)

Well, but maybe Lisa.

Chris P (Chris P), Friday, 13 June 2003 05:27 (twenty-two years ago)

Nick: is it the episode where there's a Rhinoceros stampede, and Wiggum goes "Oh, Isn't there anybody who can round up these thunder lizards?"

Andrew Farrell (afarrell), Friday, 13 June 2003 08:07 (twenty-two years ago)

YES!

'Thunder lizards' - that's it. So it was Chief Wiggum not Homer. Told you it was vague. Thanks.

N. (nickdastoor), Friday, 13 June 2003 08:19 (twenty-two years ago)

Homer Simpson is genious. (it doesn't even offend me too much that my boy calls me Homer when I shout at the TV!)

Pinkpanther (Pinkpanther), Friday, 13 June 2003 09:05 (twenty-two years ago)

nucluer, its pronounced nucluer

stevem (blueski), Friday, 13 June 2003 09:24 (twenty-two years ago)
