jess (dubplatestyle), Friday, 13 June 2003 02:49 (twenty-two years ago)

Pepto Bismol has often been of help, but if nothing's available, hrm...

Ned Raggett (Ned), Friday, 13 June 2003 02:50 (twenty-two years ago)

Rub some dirt on it.

jess (dubplatestyle), Friday, 13 June 2003 03:08 (twenty-two years ago)

Ive heard peppermint tea is sposed to be good for irriable bowel. Personally I've found nothing works when I get bad. And ho boy do I get bad sharp pains. Then again the amount of codiene I chow down each day its no wonder my insides are fuqqed up :(

Trayce (trayce), Friday, 13 June 2003 03:24 (twenty-two years ago)

I had some heartburn earlier today from all the int'l cuisine I had to eat for lunch (it was BE CULTURAL AND SHIT day at foreign-language-refresher-course land) but I solved it with a dozen camel lights, 58.5 oz of beer and some reheated papa john's supreme flat crust pizza and cheese sticks.

Millar (Millar), Friday, 13 June 2003 03:40 (twenty-two years ago)

*goes green in the face*

Trayce (trayce), Friday, 13 June 2003 03:41 (twenty-two years ago)

with jealousy?

electric sound of jim (electricsound), Friday, 13 June 2003 03:44 (twenty-two years ago)

I knew someone would say that ;P

Trayce (trayce), Friday, 13 June 2003 03:47 (twenty-two years ago)

I think the idea of camels and beer and pizza is making me feel ill cos I just ate some stodgy fish n chips and my belly hurts now. Blergh. Still, cheap drinks at Bond Bar after work... wheee poor tummy.

Trayce (trayce), Friday, 13 June 2003 03:48 (twenty-two years ago)

mmm flat crust pizza

jess (dubplatestyle), Friday, 13 June 2003 03:49 (twenty-two years ago)

ha tonight I've had 48 oz. beer, half a dozen Camel lights and a half a brick of Colby cheese with Triscuits. Feeling positively refreshed!

Aaron A., Friday, 13 June 2003 03:49 (twenty-two years ago)

I've had some stir-fry and one and a half beers and I feel like crap. I might actually go to bed early. Or just drink some more. Not sure.

Mr. Diamond (diamond), Friday, 13 June 2003 04:05 (twenty-two years ago)

Peppermint hard candies help, too. And if you have ginger root, you can grate it into boiling water, steep it for a bit, then drain & sweeten it with honey & lemon. I had a really quesy stomach almost all afternoon, but I have no idea why. :-( My dinner: two peppermint candies & a popsicle.

lyra (lyra), Friday, 13 June 2003 04:06 (twenty-two years ago)

the cure for a troubled tum is...simple! Simply mash one egg into the pavement of a long-forgotten film stars' patio. When she emerges topless from her slumber, know her well. Listen to her saliva sloshing down her throat, FOR THERE IS YOUR SALVATION! In a bananar, crush a virgin ant. Slice up tomatoes and cry on them. Lick them and yell at them how happy you are to hate them.

Mike Hanle y (mike), Friday, 13 June 2003 04:20 (twenty-two years ago)

Is someone from Williams Street reading this? Because, y'know, Hanle y would make a great addition to your Adult Swim writing staff.

I said, 'i want a second opinion'! He said, 'OK, you're ugly too!'"

(when does the stripper act come on?)

amateurist (amateurist), Friday, 13 June 2003 05:49 (twenty-two years ago)

in all seriousness, assuming a position on all-fours, keeping your head down and arse up seems to help - through the release of any gaseous build-up. camomile tea is a good un also.

Chris Radford (Chris Radford), Friday, 13 June 2003 06:38 (twenty-two years ago)

Get a hot water bottle & hold it to your stomach whilst curled up on the sofa/in bed. Always works for me. Oh & a cup of tea.

Pinkpanther (Pinkpanther), Friday, 13 June 2003 08:26 (twenty-two years ago)

Actually, I feel a bit icky now. Not a hot water bottle for miles! :-(

Pinkpanther (Pinkpanther), Friday, 13 June 2003 09:09 (twenty-two years ago)
