OK, so freaky trigger is tonight, so not quite a soundclash.

All of you not going to glasto have no excuse but to turn up at the foundry for a mix of techno, electro, gutter garage, electronica and if you ask nicely ambrose might play his nelly records.

Ed (dali), Wednesday, 25 June 2003 08:37 (twenty-two years ago)

ha!
if hot in herre is as pop as we get then we're screwed.......

ambrose (ambrose), Wednesday, 25 June 2003 08:42 (twenty-two years ago)

I wonder if you'll get binned for playing the KLF in there...

suzy (suzy), Wednesday, 25 June 2003 08:44 (twenty-two years ago)

what time do you start? I'm packing boxes and lugging shit round in preparation for my house move that night but only work up the road so may drop in to put some faces to names before going home and swearing a lot to myself all evening...

Dave Stelfox (Dave Stelfox), Wednesday, 25 June 2003 08:46 (twenty-two years ago)

Oo I work just round the corner from the Foundry. According to the posters in the window, they have a night there called "Oligarch Shit Transfusion". Which is probably the worst night out since P0pscene.

Can't make tomorrow I'm afraid but I hope it goes well

j0e (j0e), Wednesday, 25 June 2003 08:49 (twenty-two years ago)

"Oligarch Shit Transfusion"

What precisely does this mean... it sounds icky...

Dave Stelfox (Dave Stelfox), Wednesday, 25 June 2003 08:50 (twenty-two years ago)

Ooh J0e you must work near Edgy Style Mag.

Stelfox, you HAVE to turn up.

suzy (suzy), Wednesday, 25 June 2003 08:51 (twenty-two years ago)

Err, 7ish I believe, am I right ambrose?

Ed (dali), Wednesday, 25 June 2003 08:53 (twenty-two years ago)

7 - 11 sharp.

ambrose (ambrose), Wednesday, 25 June 2003 08:57 (twenty-two years ago)

suzy you're probably right - have been spending too much time at home and could do with talking to real people soon! btw you were right about the sausages on the other thread, too.

Dave Stelfox (Dave Stelfox), Wednesday, 25 June 2003 09:00 (twenty-two years ago)

did i mention how much i dislike living in the north west side of town already?

stevem (blueski), Wednesday, 25 June 2003 09:11 (twenty-two years ago)

it's shite steve, i've lived in nw9 for nearly 3 years - reached breaking point that's why i'm moving

Dave Stelfox (Dave Stelfox), Wednesday, 25 June 2003 09:13 (twenty-two years ago)

ah cool might make this, i have an engagement in the bricklayers around then :(

Chip Morningstar (bob), Wednesday, 25 June 2003 09:14 (twenty-two years ago)

Seen, but NW travel in London runs pretty late and for efficiency's sake you can walk to The Foundry in 10 minutes from Moorgate (which might well be how long transferring to No Line and going up to Old Street etc. will take). You walk north and take Tabernacle Street northward where it sort of forks off Moorgate/City Road and it deposits you at the Old Street junction with Great Eastern Road essentially, and hey! Look! Foundry visible across street at that point.

suzy (suzy), Wednesday, 25 June 2003 09:19 (twenty-two years ago)

(I feel like a moaning goat, now, chasing Ed & Suzy round threads - but did neither of you get my e-mail, sent to Ed for FWing to Suzy? Sorry to go on, it's just important.)

Cozen (Cozen), Wednesday, 25 June 2003 09:42 (twenty-two years ago)

Coz, I got that but have been a total plank about replying because am stumped if your prize-guy has been sacked (also got loads of mail this week so it got bumped out of sight). What you could do is send copies of the correspondence to whoever's in charge and it shouldn't be a problem to sort you out. Which is the attitude you should take. Or call the press office dealing with your prize and talk them through it.

suzy (suzy), Wednesday, 25 June 2003 09:47 (twenty-two years ago)

(Thanks Suzy. Sorry for harrasing.)

Cozen (Cozen), Wednesday, 25 June 2003 09:48 (twenty-two years ago)

ok, ok... as i'm becoming worried about not having been out in three weeks (engaging in the outside world is not such a bad thing after all) and think it might be nice to meet a few new folks, i will drop in early doors and then go home to finish packing... I'll come straight from work so if anyone fancies meeting up for a beer or two drop me an email...

Dave Stelfox (Dave Stelfox), Wednesday, 25 June 2003 09:50 (twenty-two years ago)
