I'm moving to the Annex from London, England this summer... I have a year-long visa, and no money. Do you, uh, happen to know how a 25-year-old with no discernable talent might find a job quickly in TO? Or know any decent bar/cafes looking for staff, excluding coffee time?

Eaton Center, all the food places need people all the time. arby's in the Northern food court lists its only requirement as "Flexable Hours, resume".
Tim Horton's is always hiring people all over the city as is Starbucks.

the annex is purdy pricey - hope you have some £££ because the conversion rate is great!

The Annex has some cheap student apartments in it Doomie. Its an odd mix of ultra expensive and bare ass student apartments. Its all about subletting in that area.
Starbucks is probably a good bet, lots of those around the annex.

or alternatively check: http://www.bunac.co.uk/uk/workcanada/

Does an english accent count as an kooky-foreigner-type accent in toronto? i thought only californians fell for that

Oh yeah, we're that dumb too.

The Beaches, Little Italy are also nice but pricey. I don't know why but I liked the look of Swansea but its defently more family land then professional houses/student apartment type of area.

Starbuck's on LeGrand is looking for a breakdancer.
